Despite weakening economy, euro rises in currency tradingThe euro is continuing to make gains in forex trading today, although they are somewhat subdued. Things are looking somewhat bleak for the eurozone economy right now, with economic data -- especially the influential German ZEW -- showing weakness.
Even though inflation is on the rise in the eurozone (as it is in British economy), there are worries about the underlying economy, and that is capping gains by the euro in currency trading on the FX market.
